Service Description:

The mission of the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County is to improve the quality of life of persons who are directly affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias * the Society's goals are to provide information, education and public awareness, family and caregiver support, funding for research and advocacy * services include First Link Program, information and referral, supportive counselling, family/caregiver support groups, Medic Alert's Safely Home Registry, information and education sessions for persons with dementia and their family members, education sessions for staff in health care facilities and agencies, public awareness presentations, resource library, newsletter * a registered charitable organization
