Service Description:
|
Family Support Workers work with sole support parents and separated singles who are in receipt of Ontario Works. They can help recipients obtain support from the other spouse/parent with a private agreement or assist with the court process to obtain support. This includes assisting with the court application, meeting with the other parent to try to reach a settlement, making sure that individuals understand the court order, and ensuring the court order is registered properly with the Family Responsibility Office.
