Service Description: Supports for people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, and their caregivers through seminars, workshops and training sessions * one-on-one care plan consultations with health professionals * advanced care planning for future health care needs * member of the North Simcoe Muskoka Community Support Services Collaborative and the North Simcoe Muskoka Dementia Network.

First Link - Networking for people affected by Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia, to a community of learning, services and support * one-on-one counselling * caregiver support groups * referral to community resources by phone, drop in, or home visit * First Link Learning Series offered regularly in various locations

Special Events and Fundraising Activities
* January is Alzheimer Awareness Month
* three walks for Alzheimer's held in the spring (Midland, Orillia & Barrie locations)
* Tag Days held annually during the summer throughout the County of Simcoe
* Alzheimer Coffee Break, a nation-wide fundraising and awareness event is held in September each year
* Bradford Greenhouses Fundraising Program: donate 5% of sales (some items excluded) between Apr 15 - Oct 15 to the Alzheimer Society if the cashier is advised before the purchases are rung through
