To provide professional advisory services in economic development, infrastructure issues such as taxes, training, financial management, community planning, technical services, policy development, housing and fire inspection to Ogemawahj Tribal Council member First Nations * employment counselling only to First Nation members.

The CHIGAMIK Community Health Centre offers primary health care to registered clients, including the services of doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, dieticians, community health workers, health promoters, physiotherapists, and mental health and addictions counsellors
Wahta Mohawk First Nation - Health Services Department
Health services department for Wahta Mohawk First Nations offering:
  • Homemaker services and Meals on Wheels program for older adults living in the community
  • assistance setting up volunteer transportation to medical appointments (transportation provided through Red Cross)
  • community liaison for Non Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program through Health Canada (NIHB provides status Indians with medical coverage for a variety health services not covered under OHIP)
  • information and referrals to counselling services, shelter's, children services, anger management courses and more
  • various programs and events through out the year (ex. yoga, shopping trips, sporting events, Christmas dinners)

Enaahtig Healing Lodge and Learning Centre - Orillia Location - Outreach Mental Health Team
This program offers mental health case management, care and support for individuals living with a mental health disorder or concurrent disorders. In a Shared Care format we work with other Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal service providers. We employ an Aboriginal cultural approach built on Aboriginal best practices. Services include but are not limited to :

Smith (Dr Tim) Psychologist - Barrie - Counselling and Assessment Services
Counselling and assessment services for children, teens, and adults * counselling to help overcome anxiety, addictions and compulsive behavior problems, ADHD, behavioral problems, codependency, depression, family of origin issues, post traumatic stress disorder, relationship and marriage problems, parenting, and coping with stress * all manner of psychological assessment is available * in counselling, uses cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness based strategies, and solution focused strategies * also provides coaching services for teens and adults with ADHD or Learning Disabilities, and instruction in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
