Choices and Changes is a state of the art workshop supported by extensive research that shows that patients make health behaviour changes for their own self care when their care team is supportive and responsive. The workshop educates healthcare professionals about the formalized techniques that assist patients in behaviour change which include the skills of open ended inquiry, empathy, reflective listening, assessment of patient confidence and conviction.
