Health Unit redesigns public health web portal for primary care providers
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has a newly designed web tool for primary care providers. The Primary Care Portal www.smdhu.org/pcportal is a redesign of the former Just for You section. Content has been updated and revised and it has been reorganized into a format that affords quicker navigation to the public health tools and resources relevant to primary care, both for routine practice and to deal with emerging public health issues. Clinical resources, patient resources, programs and services, and more, are available on a wide range of topics.
We are open to suggestions to continually improve the portal. To that aim we have created a short feedback form that resides at the foot of each page in the portal.
