Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH), in collaboration with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, has declared the gastroenteric outbreak on the health centre’s Specialized Seniors Care Unit over.
During the outbreak, declared on January 17, nine patients and 11 staff were impacted. There were no deaths.
The unit is now open to admissions and visitors.
