Service Description:
|
Emergency care housing for youth who have lost their housing * 19 beds for those identifying as young men and 6 beds for those identifying as young women
Crisis care facility programs and supports include:
- emergency care housing, food and clothing
- support in life skills development (dress, hygiene, cooking and budgeting)
- short-term or long-term stay: length of stay determined by person's need and rate of progress
- long term stays require carrying out a plan (continuing education, work, or job search)
- in-house and mobile outreach counselling services
- information and referral
Health Care Clinic held weekly for any youth experiencing homelessness who would like to see a doctor on a drop-in basis.
Services include:
- full exams
- medication dispensing and monitoring
- advice and information about personal care
- referrals for more complicated physical needs
