Service Description:

Program facilitating speech and language assessment and treatment services to infants and preschool children through a variety of models.
Services available:- intervention based education
- parent coaching
- direct and mediator therapy
- consultation
- service provided in most appropriate location, e.g. daycare, family home, hospital clinic or other location as appropriate
- public awareness, prevention and early identification activities
- 6 service locations with RVH as the lead agency

- Referrals accepted from families, physicians and childcare providers
- Intake through Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre
- intake worker gathers basic information and mails a background information package for the child's family to fill out
