Service Description: Facilitates community-based support and social gatherings for veterans and their families * Proceeds from the Poppy campaign are used to assist veterans and their families, bursaries for education, literacy and poster contest prizes

Annual events and activities:
  • tag days
  • Remembrance Day parade followed by a service at the cenotaph and comradeship at the Legion
  • New Year's Eve Dance
  • celebrates Legion Week in September
  • Annual Poppy in October until Nov 11th
  • District Public Speaking contest in February
  • Fish Fry in March

Bursary Program available for eligible children or grandchildren of War Veterans who are Life or Ordinary Members of the Legion. Contact the bursary chair for more information.
