Service Description:

Cares for the wellbeing of veterans and their families * includes social gatherings for veterans, their families and members
Legion activities include:- support of the District E Bursary program
- commemoration of annual Legion Week in September
- participation in Annual Poppy Campaign
- commemorates Annual Remembrance Day with open Remembrance Banquet (Fri night) and public Remembrance Service (Sun at 2pm) the weekend prior to November 11th
Facilities- rental of Legion Hall or outdoor courtyard * membership not required for rental
- catering is available and provided by the Ladies Auxiliary
Social activities open to members and non-members:- weekly Fri night Steak Roll starting at 6pm
- bi-monthly Jam Session the second and fourth Sat of every month starting at 3pm
- weekly Social Bid Euchre on Wed with play starting at 12:30pm
- annual Marti Gras festivities on last Sat of February
- annual Canada Day celebrations
- annual Branch anniversary celebrations on second Sun of June
- annual Community Fun Day hosted by the branch
- annual End of Summer Corn Roast and Jam on second Sun of September
