Service Description: Community-based supports for people who are culturally deaf, oral deaf, deafened, and hard of hearing * Member of the North Simcoe Muskoka Community Support Services Coalition

Services include:  
  • ASL community classes (facilitated by Georgian College)
  • Community Support Services (including wellness checks, virtual and in-person visits)
  • advocacy and accessibility education
  • information/resources and referral service
  • family, child and youth programs
  • employment services 

Ontario Interpreter Services - Professional sign-language interpreters * set fee - organizations and businesses are responsible for the cost of making their services accessible no matter who requests the interpretation service * advance booking preferred * emergency service available

Fees: Set fee for ASL Classes and some Community Events
Application: Call or visit website * no referral required
Eligibility / Target Population: People with all degrees of hearing loss or other barriers to using spoken language
