Service Description:
|
Department function and core responsibilities are:- curb side garbage collection, recycling, green box program
- drinking water and sanitary sewage works
- treatment and disposal of sewage from septic and holding tanks
- collection, diversion and disposal of solid waste
- Muskoka District roads and transportation
- management of the Port Carling Locks
* Accepts electronic equipment free of charge from Muskoka residents at selected waste depots including: obsolete computers, printers, scanners, monitors, home electronics such as stereos, VCRs, televisions and telephones. Refer to website for electronic waste depots dates and times.
