Service Description: Council governs locally to Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) citizens and promotes its inherent right to self-government.

Local Council plays a significant role in fostering community empowerment and development for MNO citizens by managing and delivering culturally appropriate programs in the areas of Aboriginal Health and Wellness; Education and Employment; Community Support Services and Metis Healthy Babies, Healthy Children; lands and resources consultations
