Service Description: Charitable organization initiates mentoring experiences and facilitates development of relationships that empower local children and youth to reach their full potential both as individuals and citizens

Programs available:

One To One Big Brother/Big Sister mentoring - volunteer-led program focuses on connecting a child or youth to a role model to build and develop a relationship based on interests and trust. Duration is 2-3 hours per week for a minimum one year commitment.

In-School Mentoring - an adult mentor is matched with a child in a partnering school

Go Girls - female volunteers 18-25 yrs facilitate a 7-10 week group mentoring program at a local school for girls 12-14 years old. Program focuses on healthy practices and physical activity.

Game On - male volunteers 18-25 yrs facilitate 7 sessions with 75 minutes duration program at a local school with for boys 12-14 years old. Program focuses on information and support to encourage healthy practices.

Various fundraising events are held throughout the year that encourage community involvement
