Service Description: Mobile crisis team responds to 911 mental health calls for service through Barrie Police, South Simcoe Police and Orillia OPP * team consists of a Crisis Worker and a Police Officer 

Services include:
  • crisis intervention
  • de-escalation
  • assessment
  • safety planning
  • referrals to ongoing support needs

Application: Referral via 911/emergency services
Eligibility / Target Population: Youth and adults with a serious mental illness or psychosocial crisis and in need of non-medical crisis intervention
