Service Description: Clinical stroke services and regional planning responsibilities for the Central East Stroke Network * interprofessional stroke care and rehabilitation

Services include:
  • Integrated Stroke Unit with 40 beds available for acute care needs of patients 
  • Stroke Prevention Clinc

Fees: Most services covered by OHIP
Application: Referral by a physician, or nurse practitioner
Eligibility / Target Population: Adults 18 years and older that have a stroke diagnosis
