Service Description: Providing care and support services * short-term and long-term care, permanent residential care, respite services and day programs * assisting those with intellectual developmental mental health support needs * Services also include support within family home out in community hospital stays

Services for youth or adults include:
  • adults living in care homes are supported in their daily living skills, behavioural support, goal setting and achievement, programming, community inclusion, work or volunteering support
  • support and respect for identity characteristics including race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, family diversity, disability, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or cultural or linguistic needs.
  • wholistic person-centred planning developed to identify and support multiple needs, safety, and personal choices.
  • all homes regulated under the Developmental Services Act, 2008 (SIPDDA), and compliant under Quality Assurance Measures (QAM) O. Reg. 299/10
