Service Description: Designed to improve the quality of life for Aboriginal people, respecting their culture and encouraging equal access to and participation in society

Provides programs to improve the quality of life for Aboriginal people * activities and programs include:
  • youth and community action program for children
  • community kitchen
  • community development program
  • Aboriginal family support program
  • criminal and family court worker program
  • health outreach, healing and wellness program
  • monthly good food box
  • weekly Soup and Stretch
  • Aboriginal community legal clinic
  • long term care program
  • cultural resource coordinator

Weekly events include: an Aboriginal parenting program, sewing circle, Ojibway language, drumming, outfit making class and special events at various times such as luncheons and children's plays.
