Service Description: Participants enjoy fun and friendship at monthly meetings, participate in crafts and have a variety of informative guest speakers. New members always welcom

Community involvement includes:
  • visiting the elderly and "shut ins" at Christmas
  • celebrating the seniors' birthday party at the Pines Senior Residence
  • supporting school programs
  • donating to projects for local hospitals and women's hostel
  • monitoring the well being of the community and expressing any concerns to local
  • participating in community events such as the annual spring "roadside garbage clean up"
  • organizing and encouraging local artist's display at the small Heritage Village Hall in the
    Windermere Village Park
  • fundraisers including bake sales at Windermere Family Fun Day in July/
  • Collection of Community history which is maintained in the Windermere Area Archive
    located in the Windermere Community Centre
