Service Description: Provides community members and visitors with opportunities for learning, socializing and self-improvement. Services include:
  • free public computers and wifi access
  • rental of the community room
  • lifelong learning programs for adults including Crafting for Grown-ups, Painted Pages, Conversational Spanish
  • multiple ways to get help with your digital devices including: Tech Help - 30 minutes of one-on-one technical assistance; Tech Building Blocks - three consecutive weekly lessons; Downloading Drop-in Troubleshooting - to assist people with downloading audiobooks and ebooks.
  • early literacy programs for preschoolers
  • adult literary programs like Friday Afternoon Book Club, monthly Coffee, Books and Conversation, and the Wasaga Beach Writers Club
  • a summer reading club for all ages
  • access to a seed library to cultivate growing and sharing
  • Little Free Library Bookhouses - provide residents with the chance to take a book and leave a book
  • Storybook Trail from 40th Street to Meadowlark Boulevard to encourage families to read, exercise and explore together
  • Books on Wheels delivers collection items to shut-in residents
  • a unique collection of things to borrow including baking pans, Launchpad tablets, movie binge bags, storytime kits, musical instruments
  • access to more than 30,000 items including books, DVDs, audio books, digital databases and tablets
  • access to specialized items for individuals with disabilities – braille, audio books and Daisy disks
  • access to books from other Ontario libraries

Click,Connect! Immigration Assistance site. Provides newcomers with private area and a laptop to connect to an online immigration facilitator, as well as access to a scanner for any documents that need to be sent to the facilitator

Fees: None - to residents * Library card $40 for out of Town residents * community room rental - $20 for 4 hours
Application: Free membership for town residents, seasonal and temporary memberships offered to non-residents for $40
