Service Description: Provide support and social gatherings to veterans and their families, and to the community * celebrates Legion Week in September * annual Poppy in October until Nov 11th * activities include: tag days, Remembrance Day parade followed by a service at the cenotaph and comradeship at the Legion * proceeds from the Poppy campaign are used to assist veterans and their families, bursaries for education, literacy and poster contest prizes, donations to community organizations

Other annual events include:
  • New Year's Eve Dance
  • Robbie Burns night the Saturday before January 25
  • District Public Speaking contest in Februay
  • Fish Fry in March
  • weekly bingo on Monday nights
  • ex-personnel and dependents program

Provide a Bursary Program for eligible children or grandchildren of War Veterans who are Life or Ordinary Members of the Legion * contact the bursary chair for more information

Meetings: Third Wed at 7pm, at the Legion
