Service Description: Committed to helping adults to improve their reading, writing and math skills, to use these skills in everyday living, to reach their own goals and to improve their self-esteem * this is achieved on a one to one basis or in a small group of 6-8 students * adult literacy tutoring is individual, confidential and geared to the student's needs and abilities * meetings are usually held at the Barrie Literacy Council * Tutor Training Workshop offered several times a year * must have attended an Information Session prior to taking a Tutor Training Workshop
