Service Description: Promotes a safe and healthy environment for the community by providing access to credible environmental information, leading the community by example and researching and initiating new ways to help the community Live Green * can provide knowledgeable people to speak to schools and other groups on various environmental topics including energy, energy efficiency, pesticides, air or water pollution, bio-fuels, nuclear power and various other topics

Projects include:
  • FruitShare Barrie, a volunteer-led organization dedicated to picking, sharing and enjoying fresh fruit growing in backyards throughout the city of Barrie
  • GreenScreen, a monthly film series featuring films with an environmental theme
