Position:  Crisis Worker - Joint Police Ride Along Program

Region:  Midland, Penetanguishene & Area

Description:  The Crisis Interventionist is partnered with police in the community. The Worker, in conjunction with the police officer, is responsible for providing Crisis Intervention, mental health and addiction support, individualized assessment and planning, outreach, coordination of client care, referrals to ongoing services as required, to individuals in the community. The worker, in partnership with the police officer, will respond to mental health calls for service received through 911 or police requests, and will respond to referrals received from other community sources. The worker will participate at any community Collaborate or Situation Tables as requested.

Salary:  $22.64 - $24.17/hour

Terms of Employment:  Part-Time
