Service Description: Engage skilled volunteers to design and build custom assistive devices for people with disabilities * increased access within households – kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms – and other environments, such as vehicles or places of business * volunteer engineers and technicians work one-on-one with people who have a specific need that cannot be met by commercial assistive devices

Fees: Free * no upfront fees, call-out charges, hourly rates or membership dues * clients are asked, where possible, to make a contribution toward materials and mileage expenses * this is discussed before any costs are incurred and is generally of a modest nature
